CAVE GEAR.doc
Don't forget your gear again with this helpful checklist!

I began caving the summer of 2001 when I met Bob during a rafting trip. He invited me caving and I couldn't resist the offer because my aunt had taken me into the commercial caves and I had always wanted to explore more. Bob and Jon gave me that chance. Since then, I have been on numerous trips and love it more and more each time.

It is an excellent experience that anyone who enjoys rock climbing and/or hiking who is in good condition to try. Plus, you must be fairly thin, good on your feet, and able to craw. Each cave is different, some have formations, some don't, some are big and some are not, some you crawl and get wet and others you don't. The caving community is some of the nicest and most considerate people you will ever meet, but... of course there are some exceptions but they have some excellent camping parties!!!

Do NOT enter a cave alone or without an experienced caver!!!
