As with any article whether it is posted in a newspaper, television, or the internet you need to identify and direct your articles to your audience.

Follow these steps:

1. Determine Your Audience

2. What is the purpose of your site?

3. Ask yourself these questions

   • What will I offer?

   • Why would someone visit my site or search for my content?

   • Is my content unique in nature, do I have to compete against other sites?

   • How can I make my information better then other sites?

   • Would they re-visit my site?

   • What can I do to make them want to re-visit?

   • How much time can I dedicate to the site? Keeping the content on your site updated frequently is equally important, as no one wants to keep reading the same stuff over and over again.

   • Do I need User Interaction?

User Interaction - The new craze. Most people online are there for fun and want user interaction, games, posts, forums, polls, quizzes, email, chat, news, dating.

Adding user interaction content is a major plus to any site. However, allowing anyone to post anything can be a task monitoring.
