Model Objections
By: Aaron B. Copyright AaronOutpost.com

I have run into this problem many times. I will want someone to model yet they don't feel comfortable with some aspect or themselves. If the model is confident that their pictures will turn out great, he/she will be considerably more relaxed and open to the photo shoot. Which yields much better pictures because they're into it.

If he/she isn’t comfortable then photos will not come out great at all. Women seem to be the troublesome one because they are always concerned with their figure and they all have something about themselves they don't like. So it's the photographers job to show the model how to pose in the best lighting to make the troubled areas disappear or look good. It's possible.

The most common for women usually concern their hips, thighs, or butt. Have them stand in front of a mirror or take pictures that you can show them right away. Have them first stand regular then show them tricks such as slightly turning their body and using the S from Attention to Details.

This now goes back to the Attention to Details article again with width Vs height. When they first approach the mirror they are usually facing the mirror. This is when you are your tallest and widest. Majority of the picture you take you do not take strait on shots. When you twist your body, the height has stayed the same but the width decreases! Hence taller and thinner and the twisting usually take out wrinkles, bulges and makes for nice looking body.
