Changing Date, Time, and
Currency Format
(Note: LCID table was exerted from IIS help)
The LCID property specifies
how dates, times, and currencies are formatted. LCIDs are not the same for each
geographical locale. Some locales format dates as YY-MM-DD and some format dates
as MM-DD-YYYY. The LCID property is read/write.
If you are using a server in another country, here
is a simple way to change the date, time, and/or currency format to your own
or international format. There are two options listed below to which you can
do this.
Option 1: If you can run a global.asa file on your server then just use
the
following lines. This is by far the easiest way.

HELP:
What is
global .asa? If your
server will run it, it opens this file prior to sending any information to
the waiting user. This makes for great statistical pages also.
This file runs whenever anyone enters your site. You do not have to put an
include file on your asp scripts. It runs automatically!
LCID number, 1033, is the location
variable. 1033 sets it to English, United States. You can set it to your
locations by using the chart at the bottom of this page.
If you get the error message
LCID is not available.
Location language files needs to be installed on the server, many servers
will have multiple language files installed. You may need to contact your
hosting company to install your language files on the servers.
NOTES: This only changes the format of the dates, times, and
currencies are shown in. It will not move dates and times to another time
zone. example: mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy
